Note for Regular SEA Members:

In order to avoid any potential conflicts of interest, regular SEA members should carefully consider the pros and cons of asking their state agency to pay their NCSSFL membership dues. NCSSFL partners with national organizations, including lobbying groups like JNCL-NCLIS, whose agendas may not align with the policies and positions of individual state agencies. Additionally, conversations and collaborative efforts among NCSSFL members may diverge, at times, from the official policies and practice of different SEAs. To avoid any potential conflicts of interest, regular NCSSFL members may wish to consider the benefits of paying for their own dues.
